Fort Meade, MD - Gate Hours, Map and Status

There are six access points for Fort Meade, half are located off MD Route 175, while the other half are located off MD Route 32. The Main Gate 3 is open 24 hours, home to the Demps Visitor Control Center (VCC), it's located on the west side of base near the junction of Annapolis and Reece Roads. Gate 1 is on Rockenbach Rd off MD Rt 32, and is open 0530-1800, M-F. Located on Llewellyn Ave off MD Rt 175, Gate 5 is open M-F, 0600-1800 and Gate 7, which is located on Mapes Rd off MD Rt 32 is open both M-F, from 0530-2100 and weekends/holidays, from 0900-1700. The Pepper Rd Gate 6 is open to Construction Vehicle traffic only, with the exception of the bicycle gate, M-F 0600-1300. Gate 4, located at Mapes Rd off MD Rt 175, is currently Closed until further notice.
